Throughout the nation, college students join forces to raise funds and awareness for their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital through an event called Dance Marathon. But then they graduate – what’s next?
Bay Area Dance Marathon came to life in 2015. BADM’s inaugural year represented one of the first efforts to mobilize young professional Dance Marathon alumni in major cities. I served as Communications Director, managing the philanthropy’s marketing, public relations, social media, graphic design, branding and logo development. The event raised more than $22,000 in 2015 for UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland.
